About The Role
We're looking for economists with public policy experience to help shape the next generation of AI. Your expertise will directly influence how AI systems reason about regulation, welfare programs, economic tradeoffs, and applied policy — making a real-world impact from the flexibility of a remote contract.

* Location: Remote
* Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
* Review and evaluate policy-focused economics questions and explanations used in AI training datasets
* Assess the quality of economic reasoning related to regulation, public welfare, taxation, and government programs
* Provide structured, detailed feedback to improve the clarity, rigor, and real-world relevance of AI-generated content
* Apply your applied economics expertise to validate scenarios, policy conclusions, and analytical frameworks
* Work independently and asynchronously — on your schedule, at your pace
Who You Are
* 3+ years of experience working or teaching in public economics, applied economics, or a related policy field
* Strong command of policy analysis, cost-benefit reasoning, and economic tradeoffs
* Able to critically evaluate written economic arguments and provide clear, constructive feedback
* Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently on task-based projects
* Reliable written communication skills in English
Nice to Have
* Graduate degree in Economics, Public Policy, or a closely related field
* Professional background in government, think tanks, academic research, or policy consulting
* Familiarity with AI tools, content evaluation, or data annotation workflows
