Active Tree services are on a hunt for an operations manager who is responsible for leading and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure service delivery consistently meets contractual requirements across our VIC Contracts. This is a key leadership role focused on driving performance, ensuring compliance, achieving financial targets, and fostering a high-performing and safety-focused culture.The successful candidate will play an integral part in strategic decision-making while building strong stakeholder relationships and continuously improving operational practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations to ensure contract compliance and service excellence
* Lead, mentor, and support operational teams to achieve performance targets
* Manage budgets and financial performance in line with business objectives
* Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and contractual obligations
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational practices
* Contribute to strategic planning and contract management
* Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Promote a high-performance culture by leading by example

Do you have-
* Proven experience in an Operations Management role
* Experience in Contract Management through service contracts or facilities management
* Achieved exceptional Workplace Health & Safety outcomes
* Ability to influence and engage with both internal and external stakeholders
* Understand general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss and balance sheets
* Excellent time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet
* Valid and unrestricted driving licence
Great, but not essential:
* White card
* First aid/CPR
* MR/HR Truck Licence
