About the Role:
The Support Worker - Catering will ensure that food is nutritious and prepared in alignment with appropriate standards, while supporting cultural, religious and dietary preferences. They will do all they can to support resident satisfaction through providing choice and expressing individual food preferences.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver daily meals and beverages under the direction of the Chef/Cook, taking into account special dietary requirements, allergies, or culturally specific instructions;
* Maintain high environmental service standards; ensuring the residents living environment remains safe and clean at all times;
* Achieve compliance with National Food Safety Program at all times including completing records for cleanliness prevention (e.g. avoiding cross contamination).
