Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Banquet/Catering & Event Manager to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of banquet and catering operations, ensuring exceptional service and memorable experiences for our guests.Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatheringsDevelop and manage event budgets, ensuring profitability while meeting client expectationsCollaborate with clients to understand their needs and create customized event proposalsDesign and implement innovative menu concepts in partnership with the culinary teamSupervise and train banquet and catering staff to maintain high standards of serviceOversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfactionManage inventory, equipment, and supplies for banquet and catering operationsEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and company policiesHandle client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely mannerAnalyze event performance and implement improvements to enhance overall operationsStay current with industry trends and incorporate new ideas into event offerings Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field3-5 years of experience in banquet/catering management or similar roleProven track record in event planning and executionStrong leadership and staff management skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsProficiency in budget management and financial reportingExpertise in menu planning and food and beverage trendsAdvanced problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesOutstanding organizational and time management skillsProficient in MS Office and event management softwareFood Safety CertificationKnowledge of Saudi Arabian customs and traditionsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysFluency in English; Arabic language skills are highly desirable Additional Information Being a Raffles employee means embodying and conveying the brand and the company mindset through our Heartiest service culture.
