About The Role
We are seeking motivated and reliable Cleaners to join our dedicated Cleaning Services team. In this important role, you will contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors.
As a Hospital Assistant, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining surfaces, fittings, fixtures and furniture within your allocated area, in accordance with NSW Health Cleaning Standards, Guidelines and Policy. All duties are performed in line with established service agreements to ensure high standards of hygiene, safety and infection control.
In This Role, You Will
* Deliver cleaning services across clinical and non-clinical areas
* Clean patient environments, including infectious and isolation rooms
* Maintain required documentation and cleaning records
* Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively Our Cleaning Services team is an integral part of hospital operations, supporting patient care by ensuring a hygienic, safe and supportive environment every day
About You
You are a reliable and motivated team player who takes pride in maintaining high cleaning standards within a healthcare environment. You demonstrate strong attention to detail, follow WH&S requirements, and work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You Bring
* Good physical fitness (PPE and uniforms provided)
* A strong sense of responsibility and reliability
* The ability to follow instructions, policies and guidelines
* Experience with healthcare cleaning procedures and equipment (desirable), including high-pressure hose equipment, leaf blowers, carpet cleaners and floor scrubbers
* Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays, and within the Mental Health Centre You are committed to contributing to a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors.
