Job Role: Plant Construction Specialist
The successful applicant will be working on a major construction project located at the South Middleback Ranges, approximately 60km from Whyalla in South Australia.
The scope of work includes extending the existing SMR TSF embankments and central decant causeway by 3m in height, as well as constructing reinforcing buttresses.
This role requires a multi-skilled operator who can work efficiently across a variety of machines including an excavator GPS, grader GPS, 777 Dump Truck & ADT Dump Truck.
* A valid Construction Industry White Card is required, obtained through a face-to-face training course.
* Unrestricted HR Licence is necessary for this position.
* Strong commitment to workplace safety is essential.
* Good teamwork skills and pride in work are highly valued.
* Recruitment involves completion of industry-standard medical forms.
Working hours consist of 14 days on-site followed by 7 days off, with each day lasting 11.5 hours. Night shifts may become necessary as the project progresses.
Accommodation and travel costs will be covered for those based away from home, with a daily Living Away from Home allowance payable at $46.
