Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Luxury Hotel Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and improve guest satisfaction
* Build and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service and meet departmental targets
* Maintain control over expenses and ensure budgeted profitability
* Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, including scheduling and work assignments
* Provide training, mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to colleagues to enhance performance and drive development
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in hospitality, hotel management, event management, or a related field
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a front office/guest service/food and beverage management level role
* Confidence and experience dealing with senior leaders and VIP guests
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Current First Aid Certification and Valid RSA Certification/Competency Card
* Demonstrated ability to delegate, lead, and motivate a large team, both employees and third-party contractors
* Exceptional grooming and presentation skills and strong verbal and written communication
* Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and hotel systems such as Opera
