About the Role
The Senior Resource Geologist will be responsible for developing and implementing appropriate resource and grade control modelling practices across the organization. This includes managing the Company's resource modelling, reporting, resource assessment and recommended actions.
* Develop and implement resource and grade control modelling best practices.
* Manage the Company's resource modelling including reporting and resource assessment.
* Provide expertise, guidance and recommendations to corporate and operational functions to assist planning and budgeting.
Key qualifications for this role include:
* Strong background in geology or a related field with experience in gold geology sufficient to act as the Company's Competent Person as required.
* Expertise in modelling techniques, estimation, geostatistical assessments and grade control.
* Proven skills in reconciliation and reporting.
* Competence in mining software such as Surpac or Leapfrog.
This is an opportunity to work on a Perth based project with regular trips to operations and exploration projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape systems and processes and contribute to the development of the Lake Carey Gold Project.
