Responsibilities
1. Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
2. Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
3. Handle payroll-related queries and provide timely resolutions.
4. Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and other stakeholders.
5. Ensure proper calculation and remittance of superannuation, taxes, and other statutory obligations.
6. Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
7. Support audits by providing necessary payroll data and documentation.
8. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
9. Ad-hoc duties as required.
Qualifications
10. Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally either in a standalone position or in a small team.
11. Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance requirements.
12. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
13. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
15. Capacity to work collaboratively with wider teams.
