The Strategy and Planning Unit delivers a vital advisory function to Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, providing expert support to corporate and clinical service teams and leaders, and enabling best health outcomes for patients today, tomorrow and into the future.
The dynamic nature of the Strategy and Planning portfolio brings together research, innovation, data analysis, engagement, and storytelling and distils this information and understanding into tangible solutions and strategies.
Key Responsibilities include:
Coordinate and undertake complex Strategy and Planning activities across the health service under the broad direction of the Manager, interpreting policy and organisational objectives to meet the needs of the health service.
Research and analyse service activity, key issues and priorities, using data insights to develop recommendations for strategic policy and service planning.
Develop and coordinate innovation activities including facilitation of organisational innovation training, innovation project mentoring and guidance, and design, plan and deliver strategic innovation events to drive culture, engagement and achievements across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
Manage planning activities, undertaking a partnering role with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs, redesign services, and develop plans and service recommendations aligned with local, state and national priorities.
Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $137,254 p.a., comprising salary rates: $70.66 - $75.83 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7) (Fixed term temporary part position, 60.80 hrs p.f. for 9 months).
