Lead Oral Health Care Professional
Making a real impact, you will lead oral health services across regional Queensland while providing active leadership and mentoring to the dental team.
About the Role
Senior dentists deliver advanced clinical care and hands-on leadership across Oral Health Services. You will support high-quality dental treatment for eligible patients, guide multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to service improvement across fixed and mobile facilities.
* Deliver Advanced General Dental Care:
o Provide outreach services and treatment under general anaesthetic.
* Provide Clinical Leadership:
o Mentor and supervise dentists, oral health therapists, dental assistants, students, and support staff.
* Support Recruitment and Performance Development:
o Recruit, develop, and grow the oral health workforce.
* Contribute to Business Planning and Quality Improvement:
o Champion workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement across all service locations.
* Promote Culturally Safe and Inclusive Care:
o Align with Queensland Health frameworks.

Benefits
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
a base salary between $158532 - $170285 per annum
4 weeks p.a. recreational leave + 17.5% loading
rural and remote incentive of 32% allowance of base salary

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Tertiary Qualification:
o A degree qualification in Dentistry.
* Registration:
o Current registration with the Dental Board of Australia (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency – AHPRA).
* Clinical Experience:
o Extensive experience in clinical practice is preferred.
* Licence:
o A C Class Motor Vehicle Licence is required.
This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to certain diseases.
