This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced Youth Mental Health Clinician at our Sale (headspace) centre to join RAV.

headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds, along with assistance in promoting young people's wellbeing. This covers core areas including mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services. Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is the lead agency for headspace (Sale) which is governed by a consortium of local community organisations who provide expertise, support and advice to RAV.
About the role
Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Youth Mental Health Clinician provides youth‐centred, evidence‐based mental health care within the headspace multidisciplinary team. They assess needs, manage risk, develop care plans, deliver interventions, and engage young people and families, ensuring culturally safe, inclusive, and holistic support. The role includes collaboration with internal teams and external partners, accurate clinical documentation, and participation in supervision and professional development to achieve positive client outcomes.
This role is located at Sale and is part‐time, ongoing role working four (4) days per week with the expectation that one day per week will be an evening shift. The base salary range is $102,202 - $106,555 (pro‐rata) per annum.
About you
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in allied health (e.g. social work, psychology, mental health nursing, or occupational therapy) with current AHPRA registration or AASW membership, and at least 2 years' experience in youth and/or mental health.
* Experience in intake, assessment, and risk management, with the ability to deliver evidence‐based interventions and treatment planning.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage young people, families, and diverse stakeholders.
* Well‐developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
