Key Responsibilities:
* Implement receipting and distribution procedures.
* Verify goods received at the Distribution Centre.
* Assist with unloading of goods using appropriate equipment.
* Check incoming goods against couriers/carriers running sheet or consignment notes.
* Ensure deliveries are correct in quantity, quality and specification.
* Accurately record orders in the supply system and process documentation.
* Segregate direct supply items from inventory items for priority dispatch.
* Deliver goods received to the nominated location, unpacking and checking accuracy before placement.
* Rotate stock to ensure first in, first out (FIFO) and/or nearest expiry date.
You will possess high-level verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, manage priorities and maintain performance at a high level within allocated time schedules. Basic mathematical skills to determine and verify stock quantities, prices and volume of goods required.
Basic computer skills and physical capability to perform all functions required by this position. Possession of LHRW (Forklift) and current Light Rigid Heavy Vehicle Drivers License highly regarded but not essential.
