About The Team

The Workplace Relations and Change team includes a Senior Manager, Manager, two Senior Advisors (ER and IR) and two Advisors (ER and IR).

Our team brings a wealth of knowledge in ER and IR matters across several industries and is looking to strengthen their value add to the business with this exciting, new role.

The team is both supportive and highly adaptable and seeks an individual who wants to work as part of a team environment in an industrially complex workforce, further building their own career.

About The Role

The Senior Advisor, Employee Relations (ER) is a newly created role within the Workplace Relations and Change team. This role provides high‐quality, proactive ER advice and support to people leaders across the organisation.

Reporting to the Manager, Workplace Relations, the Senior Advisor will manage a range of complex workplace matters including investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances and disputes, organisational change and Fitness for Duty.

Working closely with leaders across both Operations and Support teams, the role coaches and supports leaders to effectively manage workplace issues and navigate complex employee relations matters.

The role also uses data insights to identify emerging trends and risks, supporting organisational leaders to develop preventative strategies and practical action plans that strengthen workplace culture and capability.

Day To Day Responsibilities Include

* Case manage complex matters including workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances and disputes, organisational change and Fitness for Duty.
* Coach and support people leaders in the management and resolution of workplace matters, including complaints, grievances and disputes.
* Build people leader capability in employee relations to strengthen leadership confidence and decision‐making.
* Provide high‐quality written and verbal ER advice to internal and external stakeholders.
* Partner with operational leadership to guide and support organisational change initiatives.

About You

You will be an experienced ER practitioner who is confident working in complex industrial environments and providing clear, practical advice and guidance to leaders.

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

* Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and contemporary HR knowledge, with the ability to provide advice on complex enterprise agreements, legislation, and organisational processes and policies.
* Demonstrated experience managing complex matters including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, conduct and performance management, disciplinary processes (including termination), grievances and disputes, organisational change and fitness for duty matters.
* The ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to urgent and sensitive matters within tight timeframes.
* A structured and organised approach to case management, tracking and reporting.
* Strong analytical capability and highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to provide clear, practical and defensible advice to leaders in a fast‐paced and complex industrial environment.
* Excellent computer literacy and the ability to work across a range of HR systems.
