Join a proudly independent and family-owned global business as Technical Field Support to provide customer service and support of equipment in field. This company prides itself on building dynamic, commercially sound and technically capable teams through excellence in training and development of their people. Due to a promotion internally, they are now looking for an experienced Technical Field Support person to join their team.
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
Problem solving, servicing and maintenance of theatre equipment, instruments and scopes for customers in field
Work closely with the sales team to build a complete offering for customers from sale to service
Work closely with the State Sales Manager to identify specific commercial and service opportunities
Conduct administration tasks including expenses and quotes, customer care and maintenance reviews
Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade exhibitions when required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science/Anaesthetic Technician qualification highly desirable
Previous experience in medical devices and instrumentation
Sound troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills, being able to work with different personalities in a hospital/ theatre environment
The ability to understand and impart technical knowledge across a broad portfolio of products
The ability to support the sales managers in acquiring and developing new business opportunities
