You will be responsible for overseeing and directing the Bank's Learning & Development programs ensuring that employees have the necessary capability to perform effectively and grow within the business.ResponsibilitiesStrategy DevelopmentSupport the creation of a Learning & Development strategy that is aligned with the Bank's goals and workforce needs.Learning & Development Program Design and Delivery:Develop engaging Learning & Development soft and technical skills programs and materials for new hires, current employees, and leadership.Use a variety of learning methods such as e-learning modules, on-the-job training, workshops and seminars.Provide guidance on changes to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on Learning & Development plans/requirements to relevant divisions.Needs Assessment:Conduct learning needs analysis via feedback, surveys, performance reviews and risk assessments to identify soft and technical skill gaps and development opportunities within the workforce.Collaborate with each Division's executive leader and senior management to understand the team's learning needs and career development goals.Internal and External CollaborationWork closely with the Executive Leaders and Senior Managers of each division to identify Learning & Development needs, with an initial core focus on the Retail bank.Train the Bank's Training Champions and selected Subject Matter Experts to efficiently deliver Learning & Development solutions.Learning Technologies & ToolsOversee the administration of the Learning Management System and Learning platforms and tools managing bespoke courses and the associated management of training registers.Stay up to date on the latest e-learning tools and technologies, ensuring the organisation's learning platform and resources are on point and compliant.Training & CertificationsOversee the coordination of certificates, courses, or accreditations necessary for professional development.Evaluation & ImprovementContinuously improve learning initiatives based on feedback, data, changes in company needs or industry trends.Prepare reports on training outcomes and Return on Investment for senior leadership.Budget and Resource ManagementManage the Learning & Development budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effectively for all learning initiatives.About You3+ years of experience in Learning and Development, Organisational Development, or a similar role.
Banking or Financial Services experience is highly desirable but not essential.Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Psychology, Business, or related field (Master's degree or L&D certification is a plus).Demonstrated success in developing and executing L&D strategies across multiple functions or regions.Proven ability to design instructional content and deliver high-impact training sessions.Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Project management capabilities with attention to detail and time management.Creative and adaptable, with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.Police Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
