The Marketing and Development Officer role offers a unique blend of creativity, collaboration, and innovation. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the student theatre season, while also fostering strong relationships with students and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Marketing Strategy Development: Create comprehensive marketing plans to engage key audiences and promote Union House Theatre activities.
* Programme Delivery: Assist in the delivery of the student theatre programme, ensuring smooth logistics and excellent customer experience.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with students, academics, and industry partners to promote the student theatre season.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Artistic Director/Theatre Coordinator and other team members to achieve shared objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
* An undergraduate degree in Marketing, Arts Administration, Communications, or a related field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
* Experience in creating marketing campaigns and measuring their effectiveness.
* Strong understanding of social media marketing, content marketing, and digital marketing principles.
* Able to work effectively in a team environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
