Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Reimbursement Analyst. In this role, you will play a key part in helping patients and making a significant difference.
A Day in the Life
This is a market leader with an expanding portfolio delivering measurable clinical and economic value. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing opportunities to obtain reimbursement and providing support in reimbursement, HTA and funding submissions, particularly in designated countries.
Main Responsibilities
* Execute health economic projects pre and post-launch, including cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, cost-of-illness and budget impact analyses to support market access strategies.
* Develop product value stories and influence regional and global clinical trial programs to fill clinical data gaps.
* Analyze and communicate relevant evidence effectively to target audiences within the region, including publication of research findings.
* Develop and deliver focused regional masterfiles/value dossiers for effective and timely use in countries.
Collaboration and Communication
You will work in collaboration with regional, country & business unit partners to understand reimbursement/funding gaps/needs and drive initiatives to deliver economic value of diabetes technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Postgraduate degree in Economics, Health Economics or Life Science.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Reimbursement, Health economics, HTA and funding applications in a healthcare environment at a medical device or pharmaceutical or biotechnology or a specialist reimbursement/health economic consulting company.
* Track record of developing and delivering reimbursement/market access strategies in Australia.
* Experience with strategic value story development.
* Good understanding of the application, development and value of health economic modelling.
* Experience in conducting outcomes research projects.
* Strong knowledge and hands-on application of regional masterfile development.
* Good knowledge of reimbursement systems and HTA processes (major APAC countries, especially Australia and New Zealand).
* Good knowledge of the application, development and critical assessment of health economic models.
