Role Description
This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Nurse Practitioner based in Darwin, NT, with options for remote work and telehealth. Responsibilities include providing advanced, evidence‑based clinical care in sexual and reproductive health, working towards an FPAA certificate if not already obtained, and offering expert advice to patients and staff through our services. The role involves IUD work‑ups, removal, and insertions including all LARC methods, and ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients, particularly in sexual and reproductive health care
* Proficiency in patient education, counseling, and developing skills in reproductive health
* Strong understanding of legislation, privacy laws, and compliance requirements in the healthcare sector
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
* Ability to maintain accurate medical records and ensure the delivery of high‑quality patient care
* Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Postgraduate qualifications in Nurse Practitioner studies or related discipline
* Experience in community or public health settings is highly advantageous
