Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator with a background in Data Centres to deliver accurate, competitive estimates that align with project budgets and support successful planning and execution.
Responsibilities
Review customer enquiries and analyse labour, materials and equipment needs.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals.
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to validate pricing and ensure competitiveness.
Work closely with project managers, engineers and planners to stay informed on market trends and adjust estimates as project scopes evolve.
Identify risks early and include contingencies to manage them effectively.
Maintain organised records and present clear cost reports.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Help refine pre-contract procedures and ensure smooth project handovers through thorough documentation.
Qualifications
Strong electrical background, ideally within construction or engineering.
Hands-on experience estimating MV and HV fit-outs for data centre projects.
Proven track record in cost analysis or estimating, particularly for data centres or similar infrastructure.
Confidence using estimating software to streamline workflows and enhance precision.
