THE ROLEThis challenging and exciting position will see you responsible for managing day-to-day maintenance planning/scheduling and coordination of all electrical activities at our client's manufacturing facility, which operates 24/7.
Utilising your extensive planning and scheduling skills, you will look after all areas of the facility, ensuring site equipment is maintained at a high level of reliability and efficiency and seeing tasks are delivered in a safe and cost-effective manner.
You will also carry out the following key duties:Plan, prioritise and schedule weekly preventative maintenance activities, monthly shutdowns, and project works across the plantDevelop and maintain maintenance plans and schedules for all electrical systems and equipmentRecord and maintain records on maintenance history, asset-specific and procurement detailsManage and maintain spare parts inventory data and physical stock levelsManage and delegate tasks to electrical contractors – ensuring they carry out work safelyCommunicate effectively with all departments to ensure mill issues are identified correctly, prioritised and resolvedABOUT YOUTo be successful, you must demonstrate strong communication skills and a high level of intelligence.
You will be a proactive and results-driven individual who is highly organised, resourceful and possesses excellent time management skills.
