About the Role
This is a part-time position commencing in Term 4, 2025. The role involves working collaboratively across teams to manage all lighting, sound, audio-visual, staging and other equipment in the Performing Arts and Exhibition Venues.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled individual with excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise tasks. You will be responsible for supervising the operation and safety procedures for use of technical equipment used within these venues.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all lighting, sound, audio-visual, staging and other equipment in the Performing Arts and Exhibition Venues
* Supervise the operation and safety procedures for use of technical equipment
* Collaborate with other teams to achieve common goals
Requirements
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to plan and prioritise tasks
* Strong knowledge of theatre operations, equipment and maintenance and venue operations
* Highly developed written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
