The Role:
Transport Refrigeration Services (TRS) is seeking a Service Technician to join our St Peters team. Most days are based at the branch, working with a small team on servicing, repairs, and the occasional installation of OED refrigeration systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed to TRS standards, maintaining a safe and productive work setting, and providing high-quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic checks, repairs, and routine maintenance on OED refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with refrigeration systems efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets TRS standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace.
- Follow all health and safety protocols at all times.
- Keep accurate records of all service, repair, and maintenance work.
- Assist with occasional system installations as required.
The Candidate:
We are looking for a Service Technician with a positive attitude, technical aptitude, and a passion for delivering excellent service. Previous experience with OED refrigeration systems is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has mechanical or refrigeration experience. A willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in refrigeration, air-conditioning, or automotive industries (experience with OED systems highly regarded).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry compliance requirements.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills with team members and customers.
- A valid driver’s license (preferred).
