Job Summary
The Travel Coordinator manages travel arrangements for employees, clients, or executives, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation, accommodation, and itinerary planning. The role involves liaising with travel agencies, suppliers, and vendors to secure optimal deals while maintaining high customer service standards.
Key Tasks
1. Travel Management: Provide comprehensive travel solutions, including flights, hotels, and transportation bookings, aligned with individual needs and company policies.
2. Multitasking: Manage multiple travel requests simultaneously, ensuring timely and quality service.
3. Recordkeeping: Keep accurate records of all travel arrangements, payments, and itineraries for reporting and reference.
4. Travel Preparation: Provide travelers with detailed itineraries, maps, guides, and essential information.
5. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve travel-related issues promptly and effectively.
6. Cost Sourcing: Research and negotiate competitive travel options based on location and budget.
7. Reservation & Payment: Handle reservations, payments, and cancellations efficiently.
8. Travel Research: Compare and analyze travel options to find the best deals and value.
9. Financial Management: Monitor and reconcile expenses, ensuring accurate reporting and VAT recovery.
10. Emergency Contact: Act as the primary contact for travel emergencies during out-of-office hours on a rotating basis, including weekends.
11. Customer Service: Deliver high-quality service, addressing concerns promptly.
