Reporting to the Manager, Project & Contract Delivery the Coordinator Contract Delivery is responsible for contract management and leading the Contract Delivery team to deliver contracts, programmed work, and projects for Councill.As Coordinator Contract Delivery, you will provide strong leadership to a collaborative team where your contract acumen and contractor management skillset will be valued. Position Description - Coordinator Contracted Services

* Providing leadership to a small team and contributing to the development and enhancement of team culture.
* Contract management and project management of a wide variety of contracts, including facilities maintenance, verge maintenance, park furniture, fencing, civil footpath, kerb and road repairs, road line marking, cemeteries, fire prevention, playground inspections, arboriculture, mulching, roof access safety, backflow valve testing, security, cleaning and ad-hoc projects.
* Engagement and management of a wide variety of stakeholders (internal and external).
* Manage multiple contracts concurrently, which vary in scale and complexity and are at different phases of development, implementation and construction.

About you

We are seeking applications from those who can demonstrate:

Strong leadership skills with a focus on mentoring, coaching, establishing and monitoring outcomes to empower team members to achieve goals.

Comprehensive contract knowledge, contract management acumen and contractor management skillset.

Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills that fosters positive working relationships.

Extensive financial acumen, including making expenditure decisions within budget limits.

Competent IT skills that enable the use of corporate systems in the day-to-day work activities.

Consistent evidence-based decision making, with innovative problem solving and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.

Ability to manage and update programs, identify risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.

The successful candidate will have:

Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Law, Commerce, Business, Procurement, Quantity Surveying, Facility Management, or in a related discipline/field

Current Class C drivers licence

Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (WhiteCard), or willingness to obtain

Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check

Salary range is between $117,741 and $124,538 plus superannuation guarantee and will be negotiated commensurate with skills, experience and qualifications.
