About the Role
As a Motor Assessor Digital and Regional, you will play a pivotal role in delivering best practicable assessment outcomes. Your focus will be on repair cost or total loss, ensuring that motor assessing processes and guidelines are complied with.
You will benchmark repair costs and report to improve repairer performance. This includes applying repair cost benchmarking, alternative parts reporting, and scorecards to drive improvement.
* Deliver high-quality assessment outcomes for either repair cost or total loss.
* Ensure compliance with motor assessing processes, guidelines, allowances parts policy, severity coding requirements, and repairer standards.
* Apply repair cost benchmarking and alternative parts reporting to enhance repairer performance.
* Contribute to customer service enhancement of selected and non-selected repairers.
* Provide customers with prompt resolution of complaints, including repair warranty and service-related issues.
* Meet or exceed productivity objectives and complete total loss reports within 24 hours wherever possible.
Requirements
* Trade qualification and significant post-apprenticeship experience in panel beating, spray painting, or motor mechanics.
* Experience in repair shop management, estimating, and motor vehicle assessing practices.
* Quoting experience is essential.
* A current driver's license is required.
* Good understanding of the Motor Vehicle Insurer and Repair Industry Code of Conduct is necessary.
* Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks, and manage competing resources and demands.
