About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to deliver accurate, compliant and timely payroll services across the organisation. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, with a strong focus on workers compensation, superannuation and legislative compliance.
This is a hands-on senior role suited to a career payroll professional who thrives on accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll
Management and reconciliation of workers compensation payments
Superannuation processing, reporting and fund compliance
Preparation of statutory payments and payroll-related reporting
Calculation of terminations, final pays and leave entitlements
Award interpretation and legislative compliance
Payroll reconciliations and data integrity management
Providing payroll advice and support to employees and managers
Supporting payroll system enhancements and process improvements
About You
Minimum 10 years' experience in payroll, including senior responsibilities
Strong knowledge of workers compensation and superannuation legislation
Demonstrated experience in award interpretation and compliance
High attention to detail with strong analytical and reconciliation skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Professional, discreet and committed to maintaining confidentiality
