About The Project
The Tram to Springvale Alliance (TSA), comprised of BMD Constructions, CPB Contractors and Arup, is delivering the Eastern Freeway Upgrades between Tram and Springvale roads, including new express lanes, upgraded noise walls and revitalised areas of the Koonung Creek Linear Park. The project is contracted under an Alliance Contract with Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) and is part of the North East Link Program (NELP), improving safety and efficiency for over 135,000 daily vehicles, removing 15,000 trucks from local roads and reducing traffic across the Yarra River by 50,000 vehicles per day.
The Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join TSA in the Blackburn North project office on a full‐time permanent basis. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will lead contract administration functions, drive commercial outcomes and support project delivery in a collaborative alliance environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee end‐to‐end contract administration, including procurement, variations, claims and closeout.
* Lead subcontractor engagement, negotiation and contract management.
* Manage project budgets, cost control and forecasting.
* Provide commercial guidance while ensuring compliance with the head contract.
* Identify risks, support dispute resolution and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
About You
* Proven experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator (or similar) within civil infrastructure projects.
* Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes and commercial management principles.
* Experience working in alliance or collaborative contracting environments (highly regarded).
* Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced project environment.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Law or similar.
