* Part Time (FTE 0.6, 3 days a week) - Ongoing
* Band 5 - $47,214.65 + 12% Superannuation
* Based in Leongatha

As an Organisational Development Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating Council’s compliance training and learning obligations, supporting workforce safety, wellbeing and inclusion. You will work closely with leaders and specialist teams to maintain accurate training records, monitor compliance, support audits and reporting, and provide practical guidance to support consistent application of requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate and maintain Council’s compliance training framework, ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g. WHS, Child Safe Standards, DEI, and workplace legislation).
* Manage learning and development administration, including scheduling training, maintaining accurate records and systems, and liaising with internal stakeholders and external providers.
* Monitor training completion and compliance, proactively following up with leaders and supporting audit and reporting requirements.
* Support the implementation of the Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP) and assist teams to complete Gender Impact Assessments (GIA) through practical guidance and resources.
* Provide reporting, insights, and continuous improvement recommendations to enhance organisational capability, compliance, and learning systems.

Success Profile:

* Delivers high compliance rates across mandatory training through proactive coordination and follow-up.
* Maintains accurate, reliable, and up-to-date training records, systems, and Gender Impact Assessment (GIA) reporting.
* Provides clear, practical support to leaders, improving understanding and ease of meeting compliance obligations.
* Effectively supports the implementation and ongoing progress of the Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP).
* Demonstrates strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
