Overview
The Control Systems Engineer is responsible for managing the secure, reliable and effective operation of the site’s controls and automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Asset management and identifying and executing improvement projects.
- Providing technical and statutory guidance to the team.
- Programming and conducting performance system evaluations.
- Ensuring the safety, security and integrity of process control systems from physical and cyber intrusion.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Process Engineering with substantial experience in automation.
- Dynamic engineer with in-depth knowledge of Rockwell Automation PLCs, Yokogawa Centum VP DCS, Siemens S7 PLC, HMI design, Plant SCADA systems, Industrial Communication Networks, Telemetry Systems, Alarm Management and OSISoft PI Plant Historian.
- Ability to work with teams and a background in mining or heavy industry.
