About the role
Lagotto is seeking a capable and driven Restaurant Supervisor to join our passionate and dedicated team. This is an opportunity for somebody who wants to continue their development in the hospitality industry, with further opportunities to grow beyond the position of Restaurant Supervisor. As a key member of the FOH team, we would love to see a genuine interest in food and drink with relevant qualifications/experience.

What you'll be doing
* Supporting the Venue Manager in day to day operations
* Manage the venue in the absence of the Venue Manager (1-2 services a week), covering leave
* Ensure excellent service and hospitality by training, coaching, and providing feedback to the FOH team
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure good communication between FOH and BOH
* Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock control
* Engagement with beverage offer, assist with product development
* Manage reservation systems (7 Rooms), handle customer inquiries and feedback
* Contribute to the overall success of the restaurant by implementing operational improvements and fostering a positive work environment
* Maintaining high levels of cleanliness in all areas of the venue
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role
* Inherent service and hospitality skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team with confidence and respect
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, making good decisions under pressure
* Wine/beverage knowledge, WSET or similar is preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong work ethic, good character, determination
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
* A desire for self-development and self-improvement
