Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team and deliver evidence-based best practice psychology services to clients.
The successful candidate will work in a community-based pain service, providing comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatments to reduce reliance on tertiary pain management services.
They will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Tess Cramond Pain and Research Centre to provide culturally safe care to First Nations people within the Community Controlled Health sector.
In this role, you will be required to work collaboratively as a clinical member of a multidisciplinary team, facilitating the delivery of an efficient, responsive, and integrated service to clients.
You will utilise advanced knowledge, experience, and clinical skills to provide psychological services for clients, including those with persistent pain and women experiencing Endometriosis and/or Pelvic Pain.
Manage an appropriate caseload using effective time management and prioritisation skills, including clinical and non-clinical responsibilities and the maintenance of accurate client records and documentation.
Actively participate in professional and multidisciplinary team meetings, including clinical case conferences.
Utilise high-level communication and interpersonal skills to achieve optimal client and service delivery outcomes, engaging clients and family in their care delivery.
Uphold client confidentiality, ensuring their right to privacy with information only being shared where consents are provided.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
* Bachelor of Psychology
* Current AHPRA Registration
* Completion of, or eligibility for, accreditation as Psychologists Board of Australia as an approved supervisor
