Job Description
We are expanding our Newcastle team and would love to welcome a passionate and dedicated Key Worker to join us in making a positive impact in our community. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in supporting families & children, helping them to thrive & reach their full potential.
Successful candidates will be providing supports to cover NDIS participants living in the Newcastle & surrounding areas (depending on where you live).
About the role
You will be putting your exceptional skills to use as you...
Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner
Deliver much needed Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) services to participants within schools, homes and the community
Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team
Maintain awareness of current NDIS legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
University qualifications in one of the following fields - Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work or Early Childhood Education
Extensive key worker experience working with children aged 0-7 years and families
Experience in delivering services under the NDIS
Strong knowledge and advocation for the key worker model
Demonstrated suitability to working within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a caseload
A desire and passion to deliver high quality, evidence based therapeutic ECI services.
Genuine passion for working in the Disability sector
Be an excellent communicator
