Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Avionics Shop)
Join Qantas as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in the Avionics Shop.
This full-time, permanent role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic components, including oven control modules, microwave circuits, emergency power supplies, and cabin equipment.

Job Description
Challenge yourself by exploring possibilities within our Component Maintenance team.
Utilise your avionics experience in a dynamic, state-of-the-art environment.
Work full-time, permanent day shift ************) based in Melbourne.
As part of the Electrical Overhaul Workshop, you will support software configuration for onboard systems, perform harness and lighting repairs, and contribute to the overhaul of cabin equipment such as coffeemakers and bun warmers.
You will also have the potential to pursue product certification qualification (NLCS) after a minimum qualification period.
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Aerospace, or the ability to transfer qualifications via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or an Allied trade qualification.
Prior experience in an avionics shop is advantageous.
Commitment to customer focus, flexibility, and the willingness to undertake other reasonable duties.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work safely and adhere to all safety and compliance procedures.
High attention to detail and ability to comply with Qantas Maintenance procedures.
Ability to work under tight timelines with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to meet changing departmental requirements.
