Job Title: Purchasing Director
We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished professional to lead our women's young fashion and designer branded portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a passion for product trends, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop and execute a customer-led assortment strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
* Portfolio Development: Lead a team of experienced buyers in shaping the category vision, key growth drivers, and long-term strategic direction.
* Category Management: Manage and build strong partnerships with brand partners to drive sales and maximize profitability.
* Assortment Strategy: Develop and implement a holistic assortment strategy that meets customer needs and maximizes profitability.
* New Brand Acquisition: Source new brands and relevant assortments to enhance the portfolio.
* Marketing Collaboration: Drive the strategy and help identify marketing and product stories alongside the Marketing & Go-To-Market teams.
* Performance Ownership: Take responsibility for owning and driving In-Season KPIs and influencing OTB to maximize sales, gross margin, and inventory turn.
* Partnership Building: Build strong, trustful long-term partnerships with major brands for this unit.
* Negotiation Skills: Possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to take a strategic view on maximizing long-term potential.
