About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a
Furniture Movement Coordinator. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the movement of furniture and goods in and out of our stores and warehouses. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake the pickup and delivery of furniture and goods as per instructions from the relevant store manager and in accordance with our safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service as a primary point of contact for our customers.
- Understand and determine the value of brands and quality furniture and products and carry out procedures related to our pickup protocols.
- Manage the timely removal of waste and bins to the local refuse centers.
- Provide retail floor assistance as needed including sorting, pricing, and moving furniture and stock.
What You Will Bring:
- Demonstrated experience in driving commercial vehicles.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Current valid driver's license.
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety obligations and to practice these in the workplace in line with our policies and legislation.
- A good level of fitness to carry out the duties of the position, which includes physical activity such as lifting and carrying furniture, standing, sitting, and walking for long periods of time.
