Description
Reporting into the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
Manage the end-to-end accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
Lead and mentor a small team of accounts payable officers.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and discrepancies.
Oversee the implementation and adherence to accounts payable policies and procedures.
Prepare monthly accounts payable reports and assist with financial forecasting.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and accounting standards.
Support the wider Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
Profile
A successful AP Manager should have:
Proven experience in managing accounts payable functions
Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
A solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements.
Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
