We are seeking an experienced Geological Exploration Leader to join our team.
This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and implement long-term and mid-term exploration plans, including goals, timelines, and objectives for new exploration projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Developing strategic plans for exploration and resource growth
* Identifying potential exploration targets through research and analysis
* Negotiating and managing agreements and contracts with stakeholders
* Supervising and supporting senior geologists, logistics specialists, and exploration supervisors
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure industry best practices are met
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geological exploration and resource modeling, with experience in mesothermal gold deposits and tropical terranes.
A proven track record of successful geological programs and projects is essential. Requirements include a BSc degree in Geology or relevant Geoscience, registration within an appropriate professional organization, and minimum 12-15 years of experience in geological exploration and resource modeling.
Familiarity with MS Excel, Access, Leapfrog, and Minesight software is also required. Formal training and advanced knowledge in GIS and professional software are highly regarded.
Strong communication skills in English, with Dutch or Mandarin as an additional asset, are crucial for success in this role.
