* Parkville location with multiple public transport options
* Multiple part time positions available
* 12 month contracts, 32 hours per week
* Pro‐rate salary: $81,733 + salary packaging + super + up to 6 weeks annual leave

The Royal Women's Hospital is one of Australia's oldest and most distinguished tertiary hospitals dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of women and newborns, offering specialised services within maternity, neonatal and women's health.

Program Overview

The Women's Combined Graduate Nurse/Midwife Program provides Graduate Registered Nurse/Midwives with endless opportunities to learn and consolidate their skills!

* Rotation through the Midwifery continuum of care
* Three‐month rotation to a nursing area of interest
* Gynaecology and Women's Cancer Services, 5 North
* Neonates including Special Care Nursery and High Dependency Unit
* Women's Emergency Care (WEC)

Key Responsibilities

* Provide individual patient‐centred care including the recognition of normal and abnormal signs and symptoms obtained through observation, interviews and physical exams
* Communicate patient assessments and care plans effectively to the midwife in charge, the medical team and relevant members of the multidisciplinary team
* Collaborate with members of the team to identify patient care options and plans
* Appropriately assess, plan, implement, evaluate and contemporaneously document nursing and midwifery care

Qualifications

* Eligibility for AHPRA registration by February or May 2026
* Current Working with Children Check
* Eligibility to register with the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) Allocation and Placement Service (APS)
* Strong desire to work at the Women's and contribute to our goal of creating healthier futures for women and babies
