We're partnering with a market-leading organisation to secure a Canberra-based Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of new vertical transport equipment and modernisation projects across NSW/ACT.

The Role
You'll act as the key support to Project Managers, helping drive the commercial, contractual, and operational success of multiple projects.
This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted role where you'll sit at the centre of project delivery – coordinating stakeholders, managing contracts, and keeping projects moving.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Project Managers across project delivery, cost control, and scheduling
* Manage contracts, purchase orders, variations, and procurement activities
* Monitor project costs including freight, storage, and supplier spend
* Track equipment logistics and material deliveries (local & international)
* Assist with progress claims, invoicing, and project financials
* Identify and manage commercial risks, scope gaps, and variation opportunities
* Coordinate project documentation across platforms such as Aconex and Procore
* Support project close‐out, handover, and compliance requirements
* Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
About You
* Bachelors Degree or relevant Diploma in Project Management, Engineering,construction, engineering
* Experience in project coordination, contracts administration, or project support
* Background and interest in construction, engineering, building services, or infrastructure
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage competing priorities
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communicator who can engage across all levels
* Experience with systems like JDE, Aconex, Procore (or similar) is advantageous
