About Our Client

Job Description
* Lead early-stage development of new products, including prototype/sample part production.
* Provide cost estimates for new business opportunities in collaboration with Sales.
* Manage full NPI project lifecycle-planning, qualification documentation (PFD, PFMEA, Control Plans), and production scale-up.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN and Manufacturing Excellence methodologies.
* Develop and implement new manufacturing methods, optimized processes, and workflow improvements.
* Interpret complex engineering drawings and determine appropriate metrology/inspection techniques.
* Lead capital equipment projects including justification, budgeting, IQ/OQ/PQ validation, and transfer to production.
* Support troubleshooting, machine optimisation, and vendor management.
* Collaborate directly with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and support quality investigations (including leading 4CP teams).
* Mentor junior engineering talent as needed.
* Ensure compliance with ISO Quality Management Systems and EHS programs.
* Conduct data analysis using Cpk/Ppk and other capability metrics.
The Successful Applicant
* Degree‐qualified Engineer with 7-10 year's manufacturing experience (medical devices ideal).
* Strong hands‐on skills in process improvement, troubleshooting, and NPI support.
* Able to interpret complex drawings and apply appropriate inspection/measurement methods.
* Working knowledge of Lean, JIT, MRP, ERP
* Excellent communication skills and able to work across teams and with customers.
* Highly organised, safety‐focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
