About the Role:
* Provide evidence-based, individualised nursing care to clients of the Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
* Act as a clinical resource and mentor to junior staff, promoting professional development and growth.
* Contribute to service development initiatives, improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement individualised care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
2. Work autonomously, exercising professional judgement and decision-making skills.
3. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
4. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions.
Essential Qualifications:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
* Post-registration qualifications relevant to the area of specialty, with at least 3 years of experience within the clinical area of specialty.
* Eligibility to drive in NSW and willingness to travel for work purposes.
