We're a small, high-performing mortgage broking firm looking for an experienced Senior Credit Analyst / Parabroker to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.
You'll work directly with our Senior Mortgage Broker, Leigh Morris (@Financial.Leigh Instagram), supporting a wide range of PAYG and self-employed clients and playing a key role in structuring, preparing, and submitting high-quality loan applications.
This role is fully remote, with optional access to our Crows Nest office.
Attendance in Sydney once per quarter for training is mandatory.

About the Role
This is a senior credit and support role focused on lender policy, income assessment, structuring, and application quality, with direct client interaction.
You'll work closely with the senior broker and alongside a dedicated support team that includes:
* A junior credit analyst
* Two loan processors
* A post-settlement care specialist
Your role is to sit above processing, ensuring every deal is structured correctly before submission and that clients receive clear, confident guidance throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities
Credit & Structuring
* Research and structure lending scenarios for PAYG and self-employed clients
* Assess complex income including company, trust, dividends, and add-backs
* Interpret lender policy across majors, second tiers, and non-banks
* Run servicing and recommend best-fit lenders
Applications & Systems
* Build and submit applications using AFG and BrokerEngine
* Prepare clear credit notes and structuring recommendations
* Review documents for accuracy and compliance prior to submission
* Work closely with processors to ensure smooth file progression
Client Support
* Communicate directly with clients during the application preparation stage
* Explain scenarios, requirements, and next steps clearly
* Deliver a calm, professional, and organised client experience
Team & Collaboration
* Work directly with the senior mortgage broker on strategy
* Provide guidance to junior team members on policy and structure
* Attend quarterly in-person training in Sydney

About You
You will have:
* Minimum 3 years' experiencein mortgage broking, parabroking, or credit analysis in Australia
* Strong understanding of lender policy and credit assessment
* Proven experience assessing PAYG and self-employed income
* Experience submitting applications end to end
* Experience with AFG and BrokerEngine (highly regarded)
* Strong written communication and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Highly regarded:
* Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking

Salary
* $90,000 to $100,000 plus super (pro rata)
* Salary based on experience and skill level
