We are currently seeking an Estimation Manager to join our team at our head office in Collingwood, VIC. This is a full-time, on-site role that plays a critical part in our success.
About the Role
The Estimation Manager will provide commercial expertise to support the development of solution-based costings for GJK's tenders, proposals, expressions of interest, and presentations. You will ensure all costing components are accurate, timely, and aligned with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the efficient development of costing and bid support components for approved opportunities.
* Review and analyse client documents to ensure all elements are accurately factored into costings.
* Utilise organisational pricing templates and provide recommendations for improvements.
* Guide Bid Writers on articulating the solution and service delivery model for submissions.
* Manage internal processes for operational sign-off, including Bid Governance Reviews (BGR), and contribute to commercial aspects of Deal Summaries.
* Collaborate as a key member of the Sales Team to support business goals.
* Undertake projects that enhance GJK's market presence.
* Relevant degree or experience in commerce, communications, or a related field.
* Proven experience in estimating or tendering, ideally within the facility services industry.
* Experience managing end-to-end tender/bid processes, including pricing, scoping, and risk identification.
* Strong understanding of facility services operations and commercial drivers.
* Demonstrated success in developing winning commercial bids.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities to meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
