About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care worker to join our team, providing essential support to older adults in their homes and cottages across the Dubbo region. This is a permanent part-time opportunity that will require travel to clients' homes using your own car, for which you'll be paid $0.99 cents per km plus paid travel time.
The Care You'll Be Doing:
* Providing personal care, including assisting with showering and dressing
* Helping with daily tasks around the home, such as meal preparation and light house cleaning
* Transporting clients to appointments and assisting with shopping
* Assisting with medication management
About You:
* You possess excellent interpersonal skills and are patient and solutions-focused
* Previous experience in aged or community care is an advantage, but not necessary; we can provide training and career development opportunities
* You have a valid driver's licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum third-party property insurance)
