About the Role
We are looking for Employment Coaches to support young people aged 15‐22 in exploring their strengths, building real‐world skills, and gaining meaningful work experience. You will provide tailored employment supports that empower young people to achieve their vocational goals and build sustainable career pathways, working alongside interdisciplinary youth therapy teams to help adolescents and young adults shape their future with confidence.
As an Employment Coach at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same.
* Work in diverse settings—homes, schools, workplaces, vocational and community venues, and Everyday Independence hubs.
* Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team of dedicated employment coaches, allied health professionals, and other youth‐focused practitioners.
* Deliver tailored, hands‐on employment supports to a small group of participants, ensuring a highly consultative and responsive approach to individual needs.
* Facilitate workplace integration by providing on‐site support to help participants adjust and thrive in their roles.
* Collaborate with employers to offer consultation and support, promoting inclusive practices and sustainable employment outcomes.
* Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
* Attend weekly team meetings in the hub, sharing stories of impact.
Who We Are Looking For
* Flexibility to travel as required to support service delivery and participant engagement.
* Availability to work Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
* Strong communication skills and a team‐player attitude.
* Commitment to personal and professional growth.
* Valid driver's licence.
* NDIS Workers Screening Check.
* Working with Children Check.
* Experience working in NDIS or disability services.
