Lead Our Kitchen Through an Exciting Growth Year
Bespoke Catering () is gearing up for a big year in ****. With more events, new clients and expanding menus, we're looking for a Head Chef to step into our fast-moving, creative environment and lead a small but powerful team that takes pride in delivering outstanding food, every time.
This role is perfect for an experienced Head Chef /Chef de Cuisine, or a strong Sous Chef ready to take charge — who wants to leave their mark on a business and team that's poised and ready for change.
The Role
You will manage all kitchen operations and ensure smooth production across our operations.
Lead, mentor, train and support the kitchen;
Deliver consistent food quality across canapés, shared dining, buffets and plated menus;
Manage prep schedules, workflow and production systems;
Oversee multi-site event execution and service timing;
Maintain strong food-safety and hygiene standards;
Manage ordering, stock control and supplier relationships;
Handle last-minute changes with calm, practical problem-solving;
Balance working hands-on and management needs to deliver operational leadership with flexibility and outcomes focus.
About You
You thrive in fast-paced catering environments and lead with clarity and composure.
You have:
Australian work rights at the time of your application;
Experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine;
A minimum of 3-4 years experience in a Head Chef, Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine role;
A minimum of 3-4 years catering or multi-site production experience;
Ability to supervise, mentor and uplift the team;
Solid organisational and production-planning skills;
Strong understanding of kitchen systems, food safety and event logistics;
A client-focused, pull-out-all-stops mindset and take pride in delivering premium results.
