About the role
As the Maintenance Supervisor at Recycling Plastics Australia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our manufacturing equipment.
This full-time position is based in Kilburn, SA, and you will be responsible for overseeing the breakdown maintenance and repair activities of our production facility.
What you'll be doing
Providing technical leadership and guidance to the maintenance team on the diagnosis and repair of equipment breakdownsCoordinating the timely resolution of equipment issues to minimise downtime and maximise production outputAnalysing maintenance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvementCollaborating with the production teams to optimise equipment performanceEnsuring all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety and environmental regulationsManaging the maintenance budget and resources to achieve operational and financial targetsMentoring and developing the skills of the maintenance teamWhat we're looking for
Extensive experience (5+ years) in a maintenance supervisor or similar role within a manufacturing or industrial settingStrong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issuesAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematicsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teamsDemonstrated experience in leading and developing a maintenance teamProficiency in maintenance planning, scheduling, and budgetingRelevant qualifications in Mechanical FittingWhat we offer
