Role Description
Brownstone is seeking a skilled procurement, contract and/or project management professional and/or commercial support qualified for a full time role located in Canberra, specifically within Defence. Daily tasks include managing procurement Commonwealth activities, drafting and reviewing contracts, liaising with government stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with government policies. The role also involves supporting commercial projects, supporting contract negotiations, analysing program needs, and contributing to business transformation efforts.
To be successful you will ideally need to have knowledge of and experience in some or all the following areas:
Procurement processes, including experience with the various stages of complex procurements such as RFT document preparation, Offer Definition and Improvement Activities and Contract negotiations
Contract or Commercial Support to major projects or activities
Defence experience and familiarity with the ASDEFCON contracting suite will be very highly regarded
A national security clearance at NV1 and above, or have baseline with the ability to upgrade
Ability to work as an effective member of a team
