Hays is partnered with an Accounting firm with internal divisions of Financial Planning, Risk Insurance, and Superannuation. They are looking for a detail-orientated and flexible individual to join their team today!
Your new role
* Manage team databases and ATO & ASIC lodgements
* Prepare and lodge ASIC documents, and assist with queries
* Lodge income tax returns
* Monitor Work In Progress reports
* Coordinate team meetings, reports and workflow
* Liaise with clients and ATO, including handle calls and correspondence
* Build strong client relationships
* Collate reports, electronic filing, and scanning
* Support client invoicing and accounts
* Update internal procedures and records
* Assist with reception duties as needed
What you'll need to succeed
* At least 2 years of experience in an administration role in public practice accounting
* Experience with ATO and ASIC work
* Proficient in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines
* Knowledge of MYOB AE software is a definite advantage
